NOTES AND CONDITIONS TO QUALIFY FOR THE ALLISON AND ANNA NWAZUE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The Allison and Anna Nwazue Heritage Foundation (ANNHF) is happy to offer scholarship to two qualified students at Clifford University, Owerrinta, from the 2022 Academic Year.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE AWARD

To qualify for the award, the student will be an indigene of Umuorighe, Laguru-Ubakala in Umuahia South LGA of Abia State in Nigeria. The sponsors of the scholarship have plans of extending the coverage in the near future.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

The intending student must meet the admission requirements for any of the degree programs of choice in Clifford University. The admission requirements include JAMB cut off mark, five (5) credits in the relevant course of study including English and Mathematics obtained from WASC/GCE/SSCE etc. at not more than two sittings or a good score in Joint University Preliminary Examination Board, JUPEB Examination; or any other admission criteria set by the University.

CONTENTS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

Students must meet the criteria and circumstances for proven financial need before a potential awardee is approved by the Board. The scholarship will cover tuition and feeding for the two students selected annually. Other scholarships will also be awarded as approved by the Board.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

A student on this Scholarship must continue to meet a GPA of 3.00 points and above on a five-point scale each semester to qualify for a continuation of the funding. Academic results of the recipients will be sent to the Board after each semester’s result must have been voted by the Senate of the University. Recipients do not have to be members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. However, an SDA member in good and regular standing has an advantage of being considered.

APPLICATION AND SCREENING

Intending candidates will be screened and entrance examinations may also be set as part of the screening process by Clifford University. Successful candidates will be forwarded to Allison and Anna Nwazue Heritage Foundation for recommendation and final approval.
